Art Deco Platinum 5ct Aqua & Diamond Clip-On Earrings

Absolutely exquisite aquamarine and diamond earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! These gorgeous earrings are made of platinum and adorn a single, very large, oval shaped aquamarine stone that rests in the center of a border of diamonds. Each aquamarine weighs approximately 2.5ct and has a faceted face and pointed, faceted back. The rich, vibrant stone is set in a platinum prong setting and surrounded by 10 sparkling old Mine Cut diamonds. These diamonds have an approximate total weight of 4ct tw (2ct in each ear), H-I color range and VS1-SI2 clarity. The earrings are clip-on style, however they could easily be changed to posts if desired. The back of each clip displays the hallmark of what appears to be a double "W". The earrings are absolutely stunning and would be fabulous for a special collection!

Measurements: Each earring hangs slightly more than 1/2" long, is 5/8" at the widest point and has a depth of 3/8".

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds and aquamarine stones are intact. The clip-on clasps are secure and in good working condition.
