Art Deco 14kt Carved Coral & Seed Pearl Ring
An unusual and lovely coral ring from the Art Deco (ca1930) era! This striking piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and has a hand carved coral stone prong set in its center. The carving is quite intricate, and displays a lovely floral and bug design. The teardrop shaped coral stone rests atop a fine filigree mounting and surrounded by a scalloped gold wire frame along with a movable seed pearl border. The coral is a wonderful, orange color with naturally occurring lightness. This fabulous ring would make a beautiful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The coral stone along with the seed pearl frame measures approximately 3/4" tall and 5/8" at the widest point. The ring has a finger size of 6.75, but could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold mounting or to the natural coral stone.
