Art Deco Large 14kt Cabochon Onyx & Carnelian Ring
An unusual and exquisite carnelian and onyx ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of 14kt yellow gold, this fabulous ring carries a very bold look. It has six-sided cabochon onyx stone bezel set in the center, which is domed and ornately faceted. Found on each shoulder of this large onyx stone, is a carnelian ring, which is bezel set in the gold setting. The carnelian is a vibrant, rich color which compliments the onyx perfectly. The ring is very large in size and simply gorgeous! The underside of the band is marked "14K" and "WL". It would make a bold addition to any collection!
Measurements: The onyx stone is 5/8" wide and sits about 1/2" above the finger when worn. The carnelian stones have an outside diameter slightly less than 3/8". It has a finger size 7.75 but could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface weahere is no apparent damage to the gold setting, carnelian or onyx.
