Art Deco 14kt Old European Diam Engage Ring .79ptw
An exquisite Art Deco (ca1920) diamond ring! This beautiful ring has a single diamond stone that rests in the center of a delicate handmade mounting. The center diamond stone, which is an old European Cut, has been taken out of the mounting and weighed and has a total weight of .79ct. It is set in a beautiful 14kt white gold setting. The stone has I color and has a clarity of SI1. It has a high table and a small culet in the center of the stone. The diamond is bead set in a millgrained hexagonal box setting which sits atop a delicate filigree mounting. The inside of the ring is marked however I cannot make out what it says; please see the images. The ring was appraised in September 2010 by an independent Gemologist and has a retail replacement value of $4,000.00. It is an absolutely beautiful ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.5 but it could easily be resized. When worn, the ring sits a little more than 1/4" atop the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the metal or diamond stone.
