Art Deco 18kt Carved Moonstone Filigree Ring
A fabulous moonstone ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Simply stunning, the ring is made of 18kt white gold and displays a large rectangular-shaped moonstone center. The moonstone, which is prong set within a stunning filigree mounting, is hand carved and carries a feminine floral motif. The moonstone is very clear and has a beautiful hint of blue. The shank of the ring is stamped "18KT". Very unusual and remarkable due to the size and quality of the moonstone, this ring would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The moonstone plaque measures slightly more than 5/8" long, slightly less than 3/8" wide and 1/8" deep. The moonstone and mounting together sit slightly more than 1/4" above the finger. The ring has a finger size 7 but could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the moonstone, which is intact.
