Late Art Deco 18kt & Diamond Engagement Ring 0.42ct
An exquisite diamond ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! The center diamond stone, which is an old European Cut, has a total weight of 0.42ct and is set in a beautiful 18kt white gold setting. The color of the stone is I and the clarity of the stone is SI2. The center diamond is prong set in a box setting which rests slightly higher than the ornate mounting. Set within the ring are 6 Single Cut diamonds that have a total weight of .06ct tw. These stones have H-I color range and VS clarity range and form a lovely leaf-like design on either side of the center stone. The inside shank is marked "18KT". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited Gemologist in January 2013 and has a stated retail replacement value of $3,200.00. It is an absolutely beautiful ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.25 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum mounting and all of the diamonds are intact.
