An exquisite diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! The center diamond stone, which is a late period Old European Cut, has a total weight of 1.97ct tw and is set in a beautiful 18kt gold mounting. The color of the stone is F and has a clarity of SI2. The diamond is set in a 6 prong setting which sits atop a wonderful and feminine mounting. Surrounding the sides of the center stone are 6 open hearts that have 12 additional round brilliant cut diamonds set within them. This subtle but lovely detail adds to the beauty of the ring. The inside shank has several markings: "T.O.D.", 3 separate makers marks, and the number "750" twice. The ring has been appraised by an independent gemologist and has a retail replacement value of $24,995.00. It is a stunning piece and would make a beautiful engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring is a finger size of a generous size 8 but it could easily be resized. When worn, the ring sits a little more than 1/4" atop the finger.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the metal or diamonds and all of the stones are intact.
