Art Deco 18kt Rose Quartz & Rock Crystal Bead Necklace
A striking bead necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This wonderful piece displays 39 beaded links that are strung on white thread. Each bead is comprised of a cabochon rose quartz stone resting on top of another one, with a layer of faceted, rock quartz crystal separating the two. Alternating with this bead link is a small rose quartz ball. The beads have a gorgeous color of cotton candy pink. At the back of the piece is an ornate 18kt white gold clasp that is stamped "18K". It's a simply marvelous necklace that would be a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The entire length of the necklace measures approximately 16 1/2" long. The small sphere links have a diameter of 1/4". The larger bead links measure 5/8” long and have a diameter of 3/8”.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold clasp, which fastens securely and is in good working condition. There are no apparent chips or scratches to any of the crystal stones.
