Art Deco 18kt Diamond Engagement Ring .31ct
A lovely diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful piece has a prong set diamond stone that rests in the center of an hexagonal box setting, which is surrounded by an open channel. The diamond, which is an old Mine Cut, has an approximate total weight of .31ct tw and is set in the lovely 18kt white gold setting. The color of the stone is H and the clarity is SI1. Filigree wirework and ornate carving on the shoulders and side makes the mounting of this ring absolutely fabulous! The frame surrounding the center diamond displays a delicate floral motif and a carved design carries around the entire band. The shank of the ring is stamped "18K". The ring was appraised by an accredited and independent Gemologist in August 2012 and has a stated retail replacement value of $2,400.00. It is an exquisite ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6 but it could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the stone is intact.
