Art Deco 18kt Yellow & White Diamond Earrings 4.63ctw
Fantastic diamond earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Attached to modern 18kt yellow gold clasped wires, each earring has a single old European Cut diamond stone resting at the base. The diamonds are bezel set in a milgrained platinum setting which displays beautiful wirework on the sides. One diamond has a weight of 2.38ct, M color and a clarity of VS1, while the other has a weight of 2.25ct, M color and a clarity of VS2. The diamonds are set within their original setting however have been converted to modern wires. The clasp of each earring is stamped "750". The earrings were appraised in May 2011 by an accredited and independent Gemologist and have a retail replacement value of $38,000.00. These fabulous earrings would make a gorgeous addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each diamond earring hangs approximately 5/8" long, is about 3/8" at the widest point and has a depth of a little more than 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or wires, and both diamonds are intact.
