Lovely ivory and celluloid earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! These charming, feminine earrings are made of hand-carved ivory and celluloid and portray simple, yet detailed acorns. Each begins with a ball made ivory which rests in front of a clasped 14kt yellow gold earring wire. Each topper attaches to the carved acorn by a riveted wire which is at the top. The brown celluloid has a carved, textured surface and unscrews from the white, ivory bottom. This charming detail is not apparent when the earrings are worn. The earrings wires are stamped "14K". Hand carved, they're light to wear and look beautiful on. They would make a great addition to any collection!

Measurements: The earrings 1 5/8" long, are 5/8" at the widest point and have a depth of 5/8".

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the ivory and celluloid earrings and the gold wires are secure and in good working condition.
