A lovely Art Deco (ca1920) diamond and sapphire engagement ring! This beautiful piece has a single diamond stone that rests in the center of a delicate filigree mounting. The diamond, which is an old Mine Cut, has an approximate total weight of .48ct tw and is set in the lovely 18kt white gold setting. The color of the stone is J and the clarity is VS2. The diamond is prong set in an hexagonal box setting which sits atop the delicate etched mounting which has a scrolled motif. Set on the shoulder of both sides of the diamond are 2 square cut sapphire stones. The inside shank is stamped "6. 18K". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist in March 2012 and has a stated retail replacement value of $2,800.00. It is an absolutely beautiful ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring is a finger size of a small size 4.75 but it could easily be resized. When worn, the ring sits approximately 1/4" atop the finger.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold, diamond or to the sapphire stones, which are intact.
