Art Deco J.E. Caldwell Platinum & Diamond Engage Ring 1.03ct

An exquisite Art Deco (ca1920) diamond engagement ring by J.E. Caldwell and Co.! The center diamond stone, which is an old European Cut, has a total weight of 1.03ct and is set in a stunning Platinum setting. The color of the stone is J-K and has a clarity of SI1-SI2. The diamond has a fairly wide table and a very small culet in the center. The stone is set in a wide 4-prong setting which sits atop a delicate mounting with 16 sparkling diamonds and milgrained detail. The stones set within the mounting are set on both sides and down the shoulder of the ring. The diamonds that are set within the mounting have a total weight of .16ctw. On the inside of the ring are the markings "JE C & Co." and "L8405". It is an absolutely beautiful ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring is a finger size 5.5 but it could easily be re-sized. When worn, the ring sits a little less than 1/4" atop the finger.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the metal or diamonds and all of the stones are intact.
