Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Engage Ring w/Heart Motif .70ct
A lovely diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful piece has a prong set diamond stone that rests in the center of the ornate platinum mounting. The diamond, which is an old Mine Cut, has a total approximate weight of .70ct tw H-I color and SI1 clarity. On each shoulder of the center stone is a heart-shaped design that holds a single diamond at its center. An additional diamond rests next to each heart, carrying the wonderful design down each shoulder. Filigree wirework and ornate carving on the shoulders and side makes the mounting of this ring absolutely fabulous! The frame surrounding the center diamond displays a delicate floral motif and a carved design carries partway around the band. The ring comes with an appraisal by an accredited and independent Gemologist. It is an exquisite piece and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 5 but it could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the diamonds are intact.
