Art Deco Platinum & 14kt Onyx Enamel & Diamond Earrings
Fantastic onyx, enamel and diamond earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Each earring begins with a white gold post which has a single, faceted onyx stone resting as a topper. Dangling from the surmount is a black enameled link, which holds 6 Single cut diamonds that are set in the center in a platinum topped milgrain box setting. Connecting the enameled link to the topper is a smaller platinum link that is encrusted with 6 Single cut diamonds. Dangling from the center links is a large onyx ring which has a faceted outer surface. They are simply stunning earrings and would make a lovely addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 7/8" long. The exterior diameter of the onyx ring measures slightly less than 3/4" and has a depth of 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting, onyx, enameling, or diamonds.
