Art Deco Platinum Filigree & 2 Stone Diamond Ring 1.81ctw
A lovely 2-stone diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful piece has two diamond stones that rest atop a delicate and ornate filigree mounting. The diamonds, which are old European Cut stones, have an approximate total weight of 1.81ct tw. One stone weighs 1.00ct, has J color and VS2 clarity. The other stone is slightly smaller with a weight of .81ct, K color and SI1 clarity. Each diamond is prong set in a milgrain octagonal box setting, which sits atop the platinum wirework mounting. Resting within the fabulous mounting are 6 Old European Cut diamonds that have a total weight of .36 ct tw, I-J color and VS clarity range. The ring comes with an appraisal by an independent and accredited Gemologist. It is an absolutely beautiful ring and would look wonderful worn as an everyday piece or could make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6 but it could easily be resized. The face of the ring measures approximately 1/2" tall and 3/4" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds are intact.
