An absolutely wonderful emerald and diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! The ring, which is made of platinum, has a fabulous oval-shaped cabochon emerald set within it. The stone has exquisite, luscious green color and a total weight of 5.68ctw. The stone is prong set within the mounting with simple wirework details that can be seen from the sides. Set into each shoulder of the mounting is a baguette diamond which have a total approximate weight of .06ctw. Prong set above and below each baguette diamond is a sparkling, round cut diamond which have a total approximate weight of .05ctw. All of the diamonds have color in the H-I range and clarity in the VS range. The ring was appraised by an accredited and independent Gemologist in February 2013 and has a stated retail replacement value of $7,500.00. It is an absolutely magnificent ring and would make a perfect addition to any collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.25 but could easily be resized.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum mounting or to the emerald and all of the diamonds are intact.
