An absolutely lovely diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful piece has a single prong set diamond stone that rests in the center of a bezeled octagonal box. The diamond, which is an old European Cut, has an approximate total weight of .78ct tw and is set in the lovely platinum setting with a dragonfly motif. The color of the stone is in the G-H range and the clarity is VS1. Surrounding the center diamond are twelve bead and bezel set, single cut diamonds, approximately weighing .25ct tw. A dragonfly design rests on each shoulder of the ring, beautifully incorporating 10 of the additional sparkling diamond. Fine filigree wirework on both sides makes the mounting of this ring absolutely fabulous! The inside of the ring is stamped "CERTIFIED" and "PLAT." along with the hand engraved initials "W.F.D. to A.L.?.". The ring comes with an appraisal by an accredited and independent Gemologist. It is an exquisite ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6 but it could easily be resized.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamond stones are intact.
