Art Deco Platinum Diamond Encrusted Wide Band 1.43ctw
A stunning diamond band from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This gorgeous piece is particularly wide and encrusted with sparkling diamonds that carry around the entire ring. Made of platinum, the band is comprised of 35 old European Cut diamonds and five Baguette diamonds. The old European stones have a total approximate weight of 1.06ct, H-I color and VS clarity range. They carry around the entire outer surface of the ring and are bead set in a horizontal x-shaped setting. The five baguette diamonds act as barriers, separating each x-shape from the next. These five diamonds have a total approximate weight of .37ct, H-I color and VS clarity range. There are cutout details throughout the ring, adding a rich look to the design. The ring was appraised by an independent, accredited Gemologist in April 2012 and has a stated replacement value of $7,000.00. This stunning ring would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.5 but could possibly be sized very slightly if needed. The band measures 1/4" wide and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and all the diamonds are intact.
