Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Engagement Ring .25ct
A lovely Art Deco (ca1920) era platinum and diamond ring! This beautiful ring has old Mine Cut diamond that sit atop a stunning filigree mounting. The diamond is prong set in a milgrained box setting and has an approximate weight of .25ct. The stone has I color and I1 clarity. Resting within the gorgeous mounting, on each side of the center stone, are 4 additional old Mine Cut diamonds. All four diamonds are bead set in a box setting and have an approximate total weight of .20ct tw, with each stone having an approximate weight of .5pt each. The mounting is simply wonderful with fine wirework and a beautiful etched design which carries down the shoulders of the band. The overall total diamond weight of the ring is approximately .45ct tw. The ring comes with an appraisal from an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist. It would make a stunning engagement ring or could be a beautiful everyday piece!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 4.25 but could easily be re-sized. When worn, the ring sits about 1/4" atop your finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the platinum and all of the stones are intact.
