Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 1.22ct

A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful piece has an ornate platinum setting and set in the center is a single old European Cut diamond. The diamond has a total approximate weight of 1.22ct with J color and VS2 clarity. It is prong set and accented by a fine etched design that carries down the shoulders and on each side of the mounting. The shank is stamped "PLATINUM". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited Gemologist in January 2013 and has a stated replacement value of $12,000.00. It is an absolutely fantastic diamond and would make a beautiful engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of a large size 7.5 but it could easily be re-sized.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and the diamond is intact.
