Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Engagement Ring .22ct
A lovely diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! At the center of this beautiful engagement ring is a single old European Cut diamond stone with a total approximate weight of .22ctw. It is set in a lovely 4-prong box setting, and has I color and VS2 clarity. On each shoulder of the center stone are two bead-set, Single Cut diamonds. The four diamonds have a total weight of .06ctw, color in the H-I range, and clarity in the VS range. The mounting is made platinum and adorns filigree and milgrained detailing, along with geometric cutouts. The ring was appraised by an accredited, independent Gemologist in November 2012 and has a stated retail replacement value of $2,800.00. It is an absolutely stunning ring and would make a beautiful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of a 5, but it could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum or to the diamond stones, which are intact.
