Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Engagement Ring .64ct
An absolutely exquisite diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! The center diamond stone, which is a round cut, has a total weight of .64ct tw and is set in a beautiful platinum setting. The color of the stone is H and the clarity is VS1. The diamond is set in a 4 triple prong setting and rests high about the finger. Set within the mounting are 4 additional Single cut diamonds that weigh approximately .23ct tw, have a color H-I, and clarity of VS. The shank of the ring is stamped "10% IRID. PLAT", along with the number “5978”. The ring was appraised in July 2012 by an accredited and independent Gemologist and has a retail replacement value of $5,900.00. It is an absolutely magnificent diamond and would make a beautiful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size of a small size 6.25 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum or to the diamonds, all of which are intact.
