Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring .78ct
An exquisite Art Deco (ca1920) diamond engagement ring! The center diamond stone, which is an old European Cut, has a total weight of .78ct and is set in a beautiful platinum setting. The stone is four-prong set in a stunning milgrain adorned mounting. The color of the diamond is H and the clarity is SI1. Set on the shoulders of the mounting are six additional old Mine Cut diamonds that weigh approximately .08ct tw. These diamonds have G-H color and VS range clarity. The entire mounting adorns a feminine filigree and milgrain design and the shank of the ring is stamped "PLATINUM". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited Gemologist in April 2012 and has a stated replacement value of $6,500.00. It is an absolutely lovely diamond and would make a beautiful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 4.5 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum or to any of the diamond stones, all of which are intact.
