Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 1.05ct
A stunning diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful ring has a single old Mine Cut diamond that sits atop a wonderful and feminine mounting. The diamond is prong set in a milgrained box setting and has an approximate weight of 1.05ct. The stone has G color and SI1 clarity. The mounting is made of platinum and is detailed with 2 additional round diamonds that rest on each side of the center stone. These diamonds have a total approximate weight of 0.04ct, G-H color and SI clarity. The mounting is simply wonderful with fine wirework and a beautiful etched design. The overall total diamond weight of the ring is approximately 1.09ct tw. It would make an absolutely stunning engagement ring! The ring was appraised by an independent GIA certified Gemologist in March 2011 and has a retail replacement value of $12,800.00.
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of a small size 7 but could easily be re-sized. When worn, the ring sits about 1/4" atop your finger. The ring can be resized to fit most size fingers.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the platinum and all of the stones are intact.
