Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 1.56ct
A beautiful diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This fantastic ring is made of platinum and features a stunning old European Cut diamond stone at its center. The stone, which is prong set, has total weight of 1.56ct., J color and SI1 clarity. A lovely flowing scrolled design can be seen from the sides of the ring and complete the design beautifully. Detailing the design and resting along the shoulder are 44 old European Cut diamonds, which total approximately 0.75ct., and have G-I color range and clarity in the VS-SI. The inside of the ring is stamped "PT". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited Gemologist in February 2013 and has a stated retail replacement value of $16,000.00. It is an absolutely gorgeous piece and would make a perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds are intact.
