Art Deco Platinum Diamond & Sapphire Engage Ring .67ct
A lovely Art Deco (ca1920) diamond and sapphire engagement ring! This beautiful piece has a prong set diamond stone that rests in the center of an octagonal box. The diamond, which is an old European Cut, has an approximate total weight of .67ct tw and is set in the lovely platinum setting. The color of the stone is I and the clarity is SI1. Set on the shoulder of both sides of the center diamond is a trillion cut synthetic sapphire, weighing .09ct tw. Filigree work on all sides makes the mounting of this ring absolutely fabulous! The inside of the ring has the hand engraved phrase "WXH to EEM 12-24-25". The ring was appraised by an accredited and independent Gemologist in July 2012 and has a stated retail replacement value of $4,000.00. It is an exquisite ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 7.25 but it could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum, diamond or to the sapphire stones, which are intact.
