Art Deco Platinum Diamond & Sapphire Engage Ring .65ct
An absolutely lovely Art Deco (ca1920) diamond and sapphire engagement ring! This beautiful piece is made of platinum and has a single prong set diamond stone that rests in the center of an octagonal box setting. The diamond, which is an old Mine Cut, has an approximate total weight of .65ct tw and is set in a lovely and ornate mounting. The stone has G-H color and I1 clarity. Surrounding the center diamond are six bead set, single cut diamonds, weighing approximately .06ct tw. Set above and below the center diamond are two vibrant sapphires that compliment the ring beautifully. Fine filigree wirework on both sides makes the mounting of this ring absolutely fabulous! The inside of the ring is stamped "PLATINUM". The ring comes with an appraisal by an accredited and independent Gemologist. It is an exquisite ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.5 but it could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, diamond or to the sapphire stones, which are all intact.
