A lovely Art Deco (ca1920) diamond and sapphire engagement ring! This beautiful piece has a single prong set diamond stone that rests in the center of an octagonal box. The diamond, which is an old Mine Cut, has an approximate total weight of .68ct tw and is set in the lovely platinum setting. The color of the stone is in the H-I range and the clarity is VS1. Surrounding the center diamond are twelve bead set, single cut diamonds, approximately weighing .20ct tw.  Set on the shoulder of both sides of the center diamond is a bezel set, pear shaped sapphire, weighing .10ct tw. Filigree work on both sides makes the mounting of this ring absolutely fabulous!  The inside of the ring is stamped "%IRID" and "PLATINUM". The ring was appraised by an accredited and independent Gemologist in April 2012 and has a stated retail replacement value of $6,500.00. It is an exquisite ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6 but it could easily be resized.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the platinum, diamond or to the sapphire stones, which are intact.
