A stunning diamond and sapphire ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This gorgeous ring is made of platinum and portrays the infamous Princess Diana diamond and sapphire design with a single, oval shaped sapphire stone that rests in the center of a border of diamonds. The sapphire, which weighs approximately 1.81ct tw, has a faceted face and a pointed, faceted back. It is four-prong set, and surrounded by eight round diamonds, as well as two baguette diamonds, one resting on each shoulder of the ring. The eight round diamonds, which are prong set, weigh approximately .33ct tw, have a color in the G-H range, and clarity in the VS range. The two baguette diamonds, which are bar set, weigh approximately .12ct tw, have a color in the G-H range, and clarity in the VS range. The numbers "29241" can be found etched on the underside of the ring. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited Gemologist in April 2012 and has a stated retail replacement value of $6,800.00. It's a beautiful ring and would look perfect worn everyday or could make a stunning engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.25 but could easily be resized.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the stones are intact.
