Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Step-up Engage Ring 1.51ct
A wonderful platinum and diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! At the center of this beautiful piece is an old European Cut diamond stone, which sits in a fabulous "step-up" platinum setting. The stone, which is prong set, has L color, VS2 clarity, and an approximate total weight of 1.51ct. The "step-up" mounting has milgrained detailing and each side holds 6 single cut diamonds. These 12 diamonds have an approximate total weight of .15ctw, color in the H-I range, and clarity in the VS range. The underside of the band is engraved with what appears to be “G. L. M.” and stamped “.100IRID900PLAT”. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited Gemologist in January 2013 and has a stated retail replacement value of $12,500.00. It is an absolutely gorgeous and piece and would make a perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds are intact.
