Art Deco Platinum & Enamel Diamond Engage Ring 1.34ct
An absolutely stunning diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! The center diamond stone, which is an old European Cut, has a total weight of 1.34ct tw and is set in a beautiful and ornate filigree platinum setting. The bezel set stone has H color and VS2 clarity and surrounding the diamond is a black enameled ring, which adds a unique touch to this wonderful piece. The diamond sits atop a delicate mounting with feminine wirework with milgrained detailing. The shank is stamped “10%IRIDPLAT”. The ring was appraised by an independent GIA certified Gemologist in January 2013 and has a stated retail replacement value of $11,500.00. It is an absolutely gorgeous ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5 but could easily be resized. When worn, the ring sits a little more than 1/4" atop the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum, enameling, or to the diamond.
