Art Deco Platinum Filigree Diamond Engage Ring 1.38ct
An exquisite diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! The center diamond stone, which is a round Transitional Brillian Cut, has a total weight of 1.38ct and is set in a beautiful platinum setting. The color of the stone is I and the clarity is SI1. The diamond is set in a wide 4 prong setting and rests high about the finger. Set within the mounting are 8 additional Single cut diamonds that weigh approximately .14ct tw. These diamonds have G-H color and VS range clarity. The mounting adorns delicate filigree wirework throughout with miligrain detailing. The inside of the shank is stamped "PLAT". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited Gemologist in August 2012 and has a stated replacement value of $15,500.00. It is an absolutely magnificent diamond and would make a beautiful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.25 but it could easily be re-sized. When worn, the ring sits 1/4" atop the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the platinum or to the diamonds, all of which are intact.
