Art Deco Platinum Old European Diam Engage Ring 2.23ct
A stunning diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! The center diamond stone, which is an Old European cut, has a total weight of 2.23ct tw and is set in a beautiful and ornate filigree platinum setting. The color of the stone is J and has a clarity of VS1. The diamond is set in a 4 prong setting and has a small culet in the center. It sits atop a delicate mounting with feminine scrolled wirework with milgrained details. Also set within the beautiful mounting are 14 additional sparkling diamonds which add to the rich detail of the ring. A simple etched design carries onto the shoulder of both sides of the ring. The inside shank of the ring is stamped "PLATINUM". It is an absolutely gorgeous ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.25 but it could easily be re-sized. When worn, the ring sits 1/4" atop the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the metal or to the diamond stone.
