Art Deco Sterling Silver & Faux Sapphire Filigree Pendant
A fantastic filigree pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of sterling silver, this beautiful piece is comprised of a large hexagonal plaque with a single faux sapphire set in the center. The faceted "sapphire" stone is bezel set within a sterling mounting and the pendant is beautifully ornate and detailed with milgrain and very fine sterling filigree wirework. The pendant hangs from a complimentary sterling chain. It looks stunning on and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The filigree pendant hangs 1 1/4" long, is slightly more than 5/8" at the widest point and has a depth of less than 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the filigree sterling wirework and the single faux sapphire is intact.
