A gorgeous moonstone horseshoe necklace from the Art Nouveau (ca1900) era! This beautiful horseshoe pendant is encrusted with 11 cabochon moonstones which graduate slightly in size. Prong set in 14kt yellow gold, the moonstones range is size from 3mm to 3.5mm each. The stones have unusually high cabochon points and are very clear and pearly blue in color. The tips of the horseshoe have 2 small rings where the chain attaches. It is connected to a modern 14kt yellow gold chain. A real beauty, this stunning piece would look lovely worn alone or with other pendants!

Measurements: The horseshoe measures 7/8" tall, a little more than 3/4" at the widest point and has a depth of a little more than 1/4". The chain measures approximately 16" long.

Condition: The overall condition of the horseshoe is excellent. All of the moonstones are intact and there is no apparent damage to the gold. The clasp is secure and in good working condition. One of the moonstones has slight fractures within the stone which aren't noticeable when the pendant is worn.
