Art Nouveau 14kt Pearl Sapphire & Enamel Flower Pendant
A wonderful pearl and sapphire pendant from the Art Nouveau (ca1900) era! This delicate piece is made of vibrant 14kt gold and holds a bezel-set sapphire stone in its center. The sapphire is a brilliant light blue and surrounded by a gold, cage-like design. Decorating the gold piece are enamel forget-me-nots in hues of teal, white, and yellow and dangling from the bottom are 3 natural seed pearls. The entire pendant hangs from a complimentary gold bail that displays a single forget-me-not. The underside of the pendant is smooth gold and stamped “14K”. The piece has a beautiful and soft design and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 1/4" long, is slightly less than 3/4” at the widest point, and less than 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or enamel and the sapphire and pearls are all intact.
