Art Nouveau 14kt Water Opal, Diamond, Pearl Pendant
A fabulous pendant from the Art Nouveau (ca1900) period! This delicate piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and has a beautiful cabochon, water opal stone at its center. Bezel set in a ring of smooth gold, the opal has wonderful hues of green, blue, red, orange and yellow. Framing the gold ring are natural pearls, which add a touch of softness to the pendant. Topping the pendant is a gorgeous diamond encrusted bow, which is attached to a complimentary gold bail. The back of the bail is stamped 14kt. This beautiful pendant would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 1/8" long, slightly more than 5/8" at the widest point and has a depth of less than 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the opal. All of the diamonds and pearls are intact.
