Art Nouveau 18kt Sapphire Mother of Pearl Enamel Cufflinks
Striking French mother of pearl, sapphire and enamel cufflinks from the Art Nouveau (ca1900) era! These double-sided cufflinks are round in shape and have a concave face. Each side is backed with a round mother of pearl disc that has a cabochon sapphire set within it. Each mother of pearl disc is set within a 18kt yellow gold setting and is framed by a royal blue enameled border. A gold chain link connects each side of the cufflinks and the backs are stamped "18K" and "MM". They're simply marvelous and would look wonderful worn by a woman or a man!
Measurements: The diameter of each side measures 5/8" wide. The connecting center link measures approximately 3/4" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the mother of pearl, gold setting or to the enamel and all of the sapphires are intact.
