Art Nouveau Sterling Moonstone & Amethyst Ring
A fabulous moonstone and amethyst ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1910) era! Simply stunning, the ring is made of sterling silver and portrays 2 oval shaped cabochon moonstones side by side. The moonstones are bezel set within a mounting that displays a lovely wirework setting. Bezel set above and below the stones is a vibrant, faceted amethyst stone. On the shoulder of the moonstones is a lovely sterling leaf with a scrolling vine! The moonstones are very clear and have a beautiful hint of blue. This remarkable ring would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.25, but could be resized if desired. The face of the ring measures approximately 3/4" tall, 5/8” wide, and sits slightly more than 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver. All the moonstones and amethyst stones are intact.
