Arts & Crafts Sterling Enamel Chrysoprase Pendant
A lovely and unusual enamel pendant from the Art and Crafts (ca1910) period! This fantastic piece is made of sterling silver and has a flower-like shape. The entire face of the piece is covered with a vibrant green and blue enameled surface which has a iridescent appearance. In the center of the pendant is a 4 petal flower that has a cabochon chrysoprase center. The center flower is detailed with a cutout frame and is inlaid with green enameling. The underside of the pendant has a wonderful bright blue enamel surface which finishes off the piece beautifully. The pendant hangs from sterling chain that has a short extension that is cinched at silver ring. It's a wonderful and feminine piece that would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant is approximately 1 1/2" long, 1 1/2" wide and 1/4" thick. The chain measures 17" in length with a 3/4" extension
Condition: The overall condition of the enamel pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface war, there is no serious damage to the enameling or to the sterling setting and chain. The chrysoprase stone is intact and the clasp is secure and in good working condition.
