Early Retro 14kt Gold Filigree & Blue Zircon Earrings

Wonderful blue zircon earrings from the early Retro period (ca1930)! Hanging from gold earring wires is a single old Mine Cut blue zircon stone which is bezel set in a 14kt yellow gold setting. Surrounding the stone is an ornately decorated border of lovely hand wrought gold wirework. Each of the brilliant blue stones has an approximate weight of 2.50ctw and vibrant and wonderful color. The zircons dangle from 2 gold links which attach to the simple gold surmount. These fabulous earrings would make a gorgeous addition to any collection!

Measurements: Each zircon earring hangs approximately 2" long, is 5/8 at the widest point and has a depth of a little less than 1/4".

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold setting or wires and besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the blue zircon stones. The wirework detail on one of the gold surmounts is slightly damaged however this is not noticeable when the earrings are worn.
