Early Victorian 14kt, Diamond & Pearl Heart & Crown Pin
An absolutely stunning diamond and pearl pin from the early Victorian (ca1850) era! This gorgeous piece is made of sterling topped 14kt yellow gold and depicts 2 romantic intertwined hearts, which are encrusted with diamonds, and with a crown resting on top. There are a total of 30 old Mine Cut diamonds that border the hearts and are set within the 5 points of the crown. An additional 9 old Rose Cut diamonds accent the pin along with 2 natural pearls that rest on either side of the hearts. The total diamond weight of the piece is approximately 1.25ct tw. On the back is a long pin clasp. The pin comes in its original jewelry box. It's a very special piece and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurement: The pin measures approximately 1 7/8" at its widest, 7/8" tall and has a depth of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of this pin is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the silver topped gold setting and all of the diamonds and pearls are intact. The pin clasp is secure and in good working condition.
