Edwardian 14kt & Platinum Rose Cut Diamond & Moonstone Ring
An absolutely exquisite Edwardian era (ca1910) ring with a brilliant moonstone center. The large center stone is a creamy, clear cabochon moonstone which is oval in shape. It is surrounded by 49 small old Rose Cut diamonds which are bead set in a platinum topped mounting. The moonstone and diamonds are set in a mounting made of 14kt yellow gold that is topped with platinum. It looks stunning on and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The moonstone measures approximately 1.25mm wide by 1.75mm tall has a depth of .80mm. Including the diamond border, the ring measures a little less than 7/8" tall, 5/8" at the widest point and has a depth of 1/2". The ring has a finger size 6 but could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the metal or moonstone and all of the diamond stones are intact.
