Edwardian French Platinum 18kt Blue Glass Diamond Locket
A simply magnificent locket from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This fabulous piece is of French origin and has an absolutely stunning design. The locket is made of 18kt yellow gold and has a blue glass face. Covering the surface of the glass front is a fantastic floral pattern which is made of platinum. Each flower holds 4 old Rose Cut diamonds, which catch the light and sparkle beautifully. The glass is a deep color, but when held up to the light, becomes an almost glowing blue that shows through to the front design. The back of the locket is smooth 18kt yellow gold and the entire piece hangs from a simple gold bail. It's an absolutely fabulous and very unusual piece that would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
