A diamond and sapphire ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! The ring, which is a slightly domed oval shape, is made of platinum and encrusted with sparkling diamonds. Three old Mine Cut sapphires are vertically set in the center of the ring. The sapphires are bezel set and graduate in size, with the largest stone in the center. The mounting, which displays lovely wirework, has an additional 6 diamonds set on the shoulders of the ring and the shank of the ring is stamped "10%". This unusual ring combines the wonderful contrasting colors of sparkling white diamonds and deep blue sapphires. It would be perfect for the Edwardian jewelry collector!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of a large 6.5 but it could easily be resized. The oval shape of the ring measures about 1/2" wide, 7/8" tall and slightly more than 1/4" deep.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and all of the stones are intact.
