Wonderful faux pearl and emerald earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! These lovely earrings are great representation of how beautiful costume jewelry can be. The earrings, which are made of sterling silver, begin with a sterling bow-like surmount encrusted with French paste stones which rests atop a single square faux emerald stone. Dangling from the surmount is a single "pearl" that has a wire riveted through the center and hooks to an ornate sterling bar that is open in the center. This link encases 6 "pearls" and is detailed with 5 additional paste stones and connects to a large faux pearl and emerald link. A large half pearl is surrounded by a border of 12 "pearls" and 4 "emeralds". Dangling from the bottom is a final faux pearl that swings freely from each earring. The earrings are marked "STERLING" on the back of each. They are simply marvelous earrings and would look great worn everyday or for a dressy occasion!

Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 3 1/8" long at the longest point, is 7/8" at the widest point and has a depth of 1/4"

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the silver setting or wires and all of the paste stones, "emeralds" and "pearls" are intact.
