Estate Platinum & Mine Cut Diamond Engage Ring .70ct
A lovely estate diamond engagement ring! The piece, which is handmade, was made to replicate a Cathy Waterman engagement ring. The center diamond stone, however, is an old Cushion Mine Cut which has a total weight of 70cttw. The stone has a high table and a small culet in the center. The color is I-J and it has a clarity of SI2. The diamond is set in a 4 prong platinum setting with 4 small diamonds in the top of each of the prongs. On each side of the center stone are 2 diamonds that are bead set in a millgrained box setting. Ten diamonds (5 on each side) grace the shoulder of the ring and add to the beauty of the piece. The diamonds within the mounting have an approximate total weight of .20ct tw, H-I color and SI1-SI2 clarity. On the inside shank is the marking "PLAT". The ring has been appraised by an independent gemologist and has a retail replacement value of the ring is $3,500.00. It is an absolutely wonderful diamond ring that would make a beautiful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.25 but it could easily be resized. When worn, the ring sits 1/4" atop the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the platinum or diamonds and all of the stones are intact.
