Georgian 18kt Gold Large Italian Wirework Earrings

Absolutely exquisite gold earrings from the Georgian (1850) era! Each earring has a simply beautiful 3-dimensional design which is a 4-sided diamond shape that is pinched at each end. The earrings have a hollow inside and a surface made of 18kt yellow gold fine coiled wirework and beadwork. Four raised flowers are attached on each of the 4 sides at the bend in the earring. The earrings hang long from a gold earring wire that has a single ball at the base. They are absolutely fantastic earrings that would make any Georgian jewelry collection complete!

Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 3 1/8" long and are a 3/4" at the widest and thickest point.

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no serious damage to the gold wirework or beadwork or to the earring wires. One of the delicate wire coils at the bottom of one of the earrings has been pushed in slightly however we can easily have this repaired.
