Georgian French 18kt & Sterling Rose Cut Diamond Heart Ring
An absolutely exquisite and unusual Rose Cut diamond ring from the Georgian (ca1820) era! This striking piece depicts a diamond encrusted heart center which has a bow resting at the top. The ring, which is of French decent, is made of 18kt rose gold that is topped in sterling silver and all of the diamonds are old Rose Cut stones which vary in shape and size. The largest, 2 center stones are Holland Cut Pear shaped diamonds and weigh approximately 1.50ct tw. The heart, which is particularly large in size, has a 3-dimensional design along with the curled, wrapped bow at the top. The band of the ring is 18kt gold and a French touchmark can be found on the underside of the band. The piece has an absolutely beautiful design and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The face of the ring measures slightly more than 1" tall and 3/4” wide. The ring has a finger size 5.75, but could be resized if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and silver setting and all of the diamonds are intact.
